Apply the developer (FD-S) after thoroughly wiping off the red penetrant. Shake the white can well until the mixing ball is heard, then spray at a 45° angle onto the surface. Any surface cracks will appear as visible red lines. 420 ml.

Spray a thin layer of the white developer (FD-S) evenly onto the surface to be tested. Recommended dwell time is 7–30 minutes, depending on the condition of the test piece.
